Why Color Matters

Color is one of the most powerful tools in fashion. The right shades can brighten your complexion, make you look more energetic, and communicate your personality before you say a word.

Warm vs. Cool Undertones

The first step is understanding your skin's undertone:

  • Warm undertones (golden, peachy, yellow): You'll glow in earthy tones — terracotta, camel, olive green, warm white, and rust.

  • Cool undertones (pink, red, bluish): You shine in jewel tones — sapphire blue, emerald green, berry, lavender, and crisp white.

  • Neutral undertones: You're lucky — most colors work beautifully on you!

How to Find Your Undertone

Look at the veins on your inner wrist in natural light:

  • Blue/purple veins → Cool undertone

  • Green veins → Warm undertone

  • Both → Neutral undertone

Building a Color Palette

Once you know your undertone, choose 3–4 neutral base colors for the majority of your wardrobe, then add 2–3 accent colors you love. This makes mixing and matching effortless.

One Bold Move

Try a monochromatic look — wearing different shades of the same color head to toe. It's incredibly sophisticated and very easy to pull off.
